What is NIHEP?

 We are a non- government organization working on promoting children and women’s   rights and creating enabling environment both physical and emotional for children to learn and develop. .  Currently our intervention focuses in Mwanza Tanzania.,

What do we do?

Our mission is to empower, promote and protect rights of children and women through capacity strengthening, awareness raising, economic empowerment and direct service supports to most vulnerable children and families

We are focusing on doing child protection, early childhood development and   girls empowerment  

Currently NIHEP operates within lake zone regions particularly Mwanza region, works in collaboration with other stakeholders

Our vision is to have a society where rights of children and women are met and their voices are heard locally and globally.

Aims and objectives of the organization

• Empower children and girls  to advocate for their rights and access opportunities for growth and development.

•  Promote the rights of children and women within their communities and beyond, raising awareness about the importance of gender equality and child protection.

• Protect children and women from harm, abuse, and exploitation, ensuring that they have access to safe and supportive environments

•  Provide direct services and support to the most vulnerable children and families, including access to education, healthcare, and psychosocial support.
